36th annual meeting of the German Society for Protozoology

February 21, 2017February 24, 2017

The meeting will be hosted by the Chair of Limnology (Aquatic Ecology) of the Institute of Hydrobiology, TU Dresden and will cover a broad range of research topics within the large field of protozoology. Thus, it will provide a platform for researchers from a variety of disciplines such as protist taxonomy, cell biology, ecology and evolution as well as parasitology, epigenetics and phylogenomics.

This multidisciplinary meeting offers the ideal environment to foster new collaborations among aquatic microbial ecologists, evolutionary biologists, limnologists, cell and molecular biologists, geneticists, parasitologists, and more. Especially for the much-needed young scientists in protozoology, this opens up the possibility to build a scientific network or to lay the foundation of joint research projects.

Faculty, postdocs, and students of all levels as well as interested people from the public are welcome to participate in our Society event. The official conference language will be English.
