The 40th Meeting of the SBPz will be held jointly with the 51st Annual Meeting of Basic Research in Chagas Disease on November 10-12, 2025, at the Hotel Glória, in Caxambu, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The SBPz annual meeting (approximately 450 participants) aims at providing an environment for active discussion between national and international scientists and students who study protists, enabling the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and technologies between groups of researchers working in the country and abroad.
