Prague, Czech Republic
April 19–23, 2026

ISOP will join the Protistology Section of the Czech Society of Parasitology to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the first International Congress of Protozoology, which took place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, in 1961. The event will also mark the 55th annual meeting of Czech protistologists.

We are pleased to announce that three other European protistological societies — Protistology Nordics, the Society of Eukaryotic Microbiology, and the Italian Society of Protistology — will also be joining the event!

Please visit the conference website for more details. Registration opens on October 25, 2025. The early-bird registration deadline is February 20, 2026.

We look forward to seeing you in Prague!
