We are happy to announce the start of the series of informal ISOP student meetings!
The series of online meetings are primarily planned as journal clubs, student talks, workshops or talks by invited speakers. The aim of the meetings is to bring together students and researchers interested in protistology, providing a platform for informal discussions, thought exchange and networking. Postdocs, Ph.D. students and undergraduate students are welcome to join!

The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 31st, 16:00 -4 UTC.
The Agenda of the first meeting is as follows:
- Talk by Alastair Simpson (University of Halifax, Dalhousie) “Eukaryote evolution; a story told by free-living protozoa” ~ 20 min
- Q&A + Discussion ~15 min
- Informal “virtual coffee chat” and networking ~20 min
